Mark Prokurat
Owner

Mark spent his professional career in the meat packaging industry working for the companies Tipper Tie and Poly-Clip. Then, afterward, founded silver-clip with his son Mike. Mark is an avid outdoorsman who loves snowmobiling, ATV’s, hunting, fishing, shooting, dirt bikes, and bird watching. Mark is a world class long range pistol marksman who was 2nd place in the State of Michigan, shooting in the 200yd Class AAA silhouette competition, back in 1984. He is the only person to ever be qualified to shoot his Dan Wesson 44 Magnum offhand at the local gun club, Western Wayne County Conservation Association. He also built a couple few rifles for benchrest competition where he held the club high average for a number of seasons, usually hovering just below three eighths of an inch for the season. Mark has been a hobbyist gunsmith and reloader his entire adult life.

Mike served in the US Navy as a Fire Controlman, specializing in the Phalanx CIWS System.  He then worked in real estate as a licensed appraiser in the State of Michigan and is now the President of both silver-clip and Procast Bullet Company. Mike enjoys many shooting sports including Cowboy Action, USPSA, Shooting clays, Long Range Varmint Hunting, PPC, Bullseye Pistol, Target Archery, and shooting bowling pins or his flintlock on Sundays. Mike has been reloading and gunsmithing since he was a young boy. Mike was the top shot on the Marine Military Academy’s Smallbore Rifle Team and earned his NRA Distinguished Marksman Award in 1995. He hopes to compete at Camp Perry someday.

Hunter Prokurat
Operations Manager

Hunter Prokurat works with his father in his free time. Hunter is our small arms expert. He is the Captain of the bowling team at Royal Oak High School and played on the Varsity Football Team. Hunter is a wicked marksman, well beyond his years. We all anticipate he will bloom into a world class marksman.
